- Pete Davidson was seen at the Venice Film Festival last night with his rumored girlfriend, actress Margaret Qualley.
- Pete skipped walking the red carpet with Margaret, but he was later photographed sitting behind her during the screening of her new movie, Seberg.
Even though the latest news about Pete Davidson is kind of yikes—earlier this week, he yelled at members of the audience at one of his standup shows, calling them “privileged little assholes,” among other things—Pete has also been making headlines due to developments in his love life.
It’s being reported that the comedian is fully over Kate Beckinsale (RIP to their legendary PDA) and is now dating actress Margaret Qualley, the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell and model Paul Qualley. And while neither has confirmed the romance, according to a source, “They’ve been seeing each other for a couple of months, and Margaret is really excited about him.”
There were also rumors that Pete and Margaret were going to make their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival last night because that’s where Margaret’s new movie was premiering. And even though we sadly didn’t get any pics of the couple on the red carpet, Pete did show up to watch the movie—and was seated right behind Margaret.
Here he is pretending not to eavesdrop on Margaret and actor Anthony Mackie’s conversation:
Here he is thinking, “dang, she’s cute!”:
And here’s Pete wondering why he agreed to come to this film festival in the first place:
So are these the new couple pictures that we were hoping for? Absolutely not. But are these pictures as iconic as Pete and Kate’s hockey game make out session? Also no. Oh well, maybe we’ll get some better shots next time! ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
